The beanbags sold by Franco Manufacturing have been recalled for safety reasons. The recall order was done in cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission. The beanbags are sold with around 4,800 Barney Hopscotch Game Towels. It was learned that the seams of the beanbags by the manufacturer can separate and with that, the plastic pellets can be released which can in turn pose some hazards to the children. No injuries were reported just yet related to the products but the company is doing the recall in order to prevent injuries from happening. This was sold from March 1999 until May 1999.
